Merging Accounts?

I had prophecies but i got it stolen so i bought factions. Can i merge a faction account with a prophecie accoutn which is totally empty? And will i bne able to connect to Prophecies with my Faction NEcro and get skills from tehre? Will all the places be open for me and do i have to run to all the places all over again to get to the places?

and when it ask for user name and password, whose account is it asking for the merging one or the faction one?

You can merge accounts as long as you are adding a new account to an old account. Once both accounts are created as seperate accounts you CANNOT merge them unless you buy a new account. If you are succesfful with prophecies and factions conencted together then you can get skills on either side with chars on that account and you can go anywhere with your chars in both regions.

To add a new account to your existing account click on create account add access key. Then follow directions for adding a key on to your existing account.

In the next screen be sure to ADD your Prophecies Key to your account and not creating another account.

No. Any account that does not already have the chapter you are adding can have it added to it.

In order to merge accounts you need 1 old existing account and 1 new unused key. You apply the new key to the existing account thus having 2 accounts in one.

If you already have two seperate existing accounts then not you CANNOT merge them to each other, even if one is empty.

There have been cases of exceptions to this, if a person accidentally created a second account instead of adding the key to the first, GW support has been willing to delete the second account and add the key to the first (though I would assume you would have to prove ownership of both accounts).

I realize this but it seems that MrCoolGuy is confused on which accounts you can merge and which you cannot. Best to say it right in the beginning then have him learn the hard way. He hasn't made it clear if he has two existing accounts he wants to merge or 1 existing account and one unused key. So I am just trying to make this clear.

Can I add the keys from the special editions of the games to my current standard game version and get the bonuses? Or do the bonuses only apply for accounts created from scratch?
