I just built my 55 and Im really enjoying him, I was wondering what areas / bosses I can solo to get green drops. And if any variations need to be made to the build in order to do it.

hmmm...the greens on the newbie island in Cantha! yep.
Yeah newbie island always just makes me mad cause I get green and gold items but theere hardly ever max dmg. Also I prefer using my mm when doing anything solo over there since I really dont have to put as much thought into it as I do when I play my 55. It seems the green bosses have a heavily guarded path to them that makes them difficult to solo.

why do people think that 55 monks are the end all, be all farming character? off the top of my head i can only think of ~8 good spots. make a ranger and start soloing fow(no offense, im just sick of everybody thinking 55 monks are great)

It might be interesting to see a "Bosses that can be soloed by monks" thread, regardless of builds. Although this could result in "bug" fixes, ala nerf.
(note: Bug is used with sarcasm, whenever anet sees something working too well to the player's advantage, whatever gave them that advantage was either an exploit or a bug, never poor planning or terrible programming forsight)

That are they add necro life stealing mobs everywhere. The mesmer were just not cutting it :p (people are to good at covering their enchantsments).
I tend to farm more bosses and area's of the game with a W/Mo, and its pretty laid back runs at that. ;)

I tried a few places , you can do wings if you bring disrupt chop and an axe but boy does it take obsurdly long amount of time , rather just use my wammo he can do alot of places.
