Thread: So...

    So...

I've been reading over at another fansite's forums, and Galie seems to post there a great deal more than she does here. What gives?

The other forum is more popular.

In-game, I always hear people reference the other forum, not GWOnline.

Gaile posts to the largest audience.

Hmm, are you suggesting something? :P

    There's another forum?

This was the one I found most readable and with most useful content. That's why I post and read here.

But, maybe I should look at other forums. Hmmm.

    Gaile say anything interesting?
    Song of the Forsaken
    The Forsaken
    theforsaken.guildportal.com

    -Autumn the Forsaken Mo/W-
    -Minuet the Forsaken N/Mo-

    The Forsaken Gallery

In response to the Pet/Dragon Arena bug:

As a Ranger myself, I know that's a real "ouch" and I personally feel your pain. But as a Ranger, I know that the leveling process is very rapid, and I encourage you to not despair but to charm a new pet and have him/her at your side, in fighting form, in a short while.

Again, we're very sorry about those pet losses.
    I'd call that interesting.

Also, she responds to a lot more stuff on that forum. It's lke she's actaully a user there, as opposed to some mystical being that never posts. To be honest, I'll be surprised if she responds to this thread :P

    Counterpsychology. Never. Works.

I didn't know there were other forums. No. Say it's not true. These are the only true forums!

Another one from Gaile: Same topic

Obviously, this isn't something we can do by request, either. And remember, for the security of the game, the developers cannot spawn gold, items, orbs, pets, or anything at all. So the concept of restoration is not an option, with our deep regrets.

So too is it not possible to offer some form of compensation. We cannot give compensation for any loss, and while that is unfortunate, there is very solid reasoning behind that policy, and the policy needs to be immutable in order to maintain the soundness and the integrity of the game.

I want to say that the number of people affected was very small, in the overall scope of things, because thankfully the bug was caught very quickly. And do know that the relative smallness in number does not in any way reduce our compassion for the loss or our deep regrets for what happened!

And yes, if I did not make it clear, the bug was fixed very quickly and is not happening now. Nothing else was changed, including the placement or the availability of pets.

I wish all of my fellow Rangers the best of luck in finding the best possible pet, and in leveling him or her quickly.

Okay, so I am feeling foolish. What happened to Pets?

Edit: Ah, thank you Innocent! (Doesn't need to rush to check her Ranger...)
