Hmm, if your Print Screen button has an alternate function to it on your keyboard (like on some Logitech keyboards), check to see that it's set to the Print Screen function and not the alternate one. Make sure you're pressing them at the same time, and check to see if the image appears in the Screens folder in the GW directory.

Thanks. There's no alternate function but it just don't work. I mapped another key for screenshot and that works.

This didn't solve my query, i see people hosting images directly to this forum, this only tells me how to host the image somewhere else rather than on the forum page directly like others can e.g. armour pictures etc.

Most people do host them elsewhere though, it's just you don't really understand I think. When you host an image anywhere on the web and want to display it within one of your posts you're meant to just put the link to the image within these 2 tags [IMG] [/IMG]

So, if you upload something to imageshack, you find out the link is 'http://...fdg.jpg'. Once you put it into this format:

The forum will display the image for you in your post.

There's no way to upload images to this forum, there is a Gallery section but I've only seen a handful actually use it for hosting images on the forum, even then there's no difference on the way you get them to display.

Thanks Colindem, i didn't explain it right, but basically what you just said is what i wanted to do .

I used the word 'host', i meant to say 'put-up' then.

Also note that in the case of Imageshack, the code you need is actually given on the Imageshack page after you upload your image. You'll want to use the thumbnail part, not the hotlink (this forum gets a lot of traffic, and high-traffic images get removed from Imageshack).

I believe it's forum code 1... essentially looks like

(note, line break added for readability)

Really it's as simple as copying and pasting this into your forum message.
