I sure hope this is true. Rits get a good number of buffs. Ritual Lord has notably been nerfed slightly, but considering the spirit recharge in general has dropped, it doesn't really matter that much.
the best thing for rits are the reduced timers for spirits...60 secs is such a long wait.....i hope these bufs are true for ye guys.....
Can't say I really like it, but then again, Rit Lords drawing out GvG's to VoD every time isn't so much fun, either.
Well, Rt lord is nerfed just a little bit according to this.. but, the recharge on alot of spirits will be lowered... including Shelter-union displacement.. by 15 seconds... I suspect Rt lord would be about the same because of this.
Decreased recharge makes attack and resto rts much mroe viable... while playing those two, you are always concerned about where/when to get your next spirit up... and it seems like you always don't have one hen you want one. ... changes along these lines would really help to that problem, and make Ritualists much more playable in other roles.
I'll be interrested to see if this is an at all accurate run done of the skill balences.
If true, it's a good start. They seem to have fixed a number of underpowered skills, but there are still a number of others that aren't on the list that should be. We'll see what happens.

mmmm guided weapon... now a spammable warrior's cunning?
Rit Lord will still be viable but not as much as it has been.
Old Rit Lord: Spirits with 60/45 will recharge in 12/9 seconds respectively.
New Rit Lord: Spirits with 45 will recharge in 18 seconds.
So after we count the casting time you would actually have a few secs to do something else, other than just spam spirits. Also the change with Shelter losing more health will make it last shorter.
In conclusion, I think that things will be more/less balanced that way.

I see the link you gave, but since I don't read german.. what is the source of these rumors? Was there some dev interview or ?? It seems like an awful lot of changes to happen all at once?
It warns that there is no official source to confirm these changes and that they are from one claiming to be an alpha tester. Basically to enjoy them with a grain of salt.Originally Posted by Ashin

They seem logical changes. It also makes sense that ANet would do some rebalancing before Nightfall comes out. (They had some temporary skill balances to existing professions during the Nightfall PvP event).
We'll see what happens.
Even if the list was accurate when it was detailed, assuming it was from an alpha tester things can change a lot from alpha, to beta and through to release.
