EB Canada?

So I stopped by EB Canada at lunch and they had a bunch of bonus cd's there.

The guy said they are only giving it out when the customer picks up the full game. So I put my deposit down. But it doesn;t say anywhere on the reciept that it includes the pre-order bonus.

Think I got/we get screwed over?
Anyone else get this problem?

I preordered nightfall and paid $4.99 CDN for my bonus pack cd at EB Games in Hamilton, ON, Canada, so i think you were misinformed..i would go back and get your cd!

and i don't know if its the same at EB's everyone, but does anyone else feel uncomfortable with the people who work there? I always HATE talking to them since they always seem to have bad attitudes, and condescending tones towards customers...especially those customers who do a TON of research on games they play, yet the EB staffers always know MORE than them, and the customer is always WRONG...

pathetic...but why do i go back there? because my only other choice is future shop and walmart, but they don't usually get the preorder packs for some reason..

Is it like that everywhere? I had to pay 4.99$ for my pre-order as well, which I found very odd since the LAST two were free with pre-order.

Paid $5 each for them, and I wasn't made to pre-order - and that's in Hamilton, ON - Centre Mall. What EB did they make you pre-order at?

And I agree - EB employees are all either arrogant little.. ahem, or they have no clue what they're even selling.

I paid 5.00 each for two pre-orders (one for me, one for my son) when we pre-ordered our GW:N CE games. That 5.00 was then noted as a credit towards our final retail purchase price (I put down 15.00 per game) right on the deposit receipt. This was at one of the EB Games outlets in Langley BC.

The reason it costs and the previous ones didn't... it's NOT a pre-order bonus pack. It's a pre-release bonus pack, they aren't having a pre-order bonus pack this time.

I've noticed that half the EB locations seem to be making people pre-order and the other half aren't. Not sure what's up with that, but perhaps you can pull out the press releases with details about it and take it to your local store to get your copies.
