The way you get a GPA over 4.0 is very simple. In high school (and some colleges) you can take AP (or honors) classes which count as either a letter grade higher, or the GPA from it counts as x1.5. I think the valedictorian in my school had a 4.9 using that method. 2 full years of A's in AP classes.
Which is why AP classes aren't so bad. Get a C and it counts as a B for your GPA. win.
Yup. AP/honors are 5 points, and normal classes are 4.
Anyways, let's not talk about school.
Did everyone watch Avatar?
Nope I haven't, Soulwar. I know I'm a fail.
I wanted to enroll into an AP course or two during my high school years and they wouldn't let me. Something about not being smart enough.
:O go watch it in 3D or IMAX 3D as soon as possible. I think normal isn't worth watching.
My high school lets most people take the AP course of their choice.

I don't care for normal movies at our IMAX because it has a curved screen. Fine for nature and space stuff, but I don't care for it for regular movies. Polar Express was a big let down when I saw it.
Veritas Invictus ~ The TRUE Guild
but it's IMAX 3D! and for this movie IMAX actually makes a difference, unlike most movies. or so i hear.
I took a couple of AP courses in high school, but I couldn't afford the test fees so I never got any college credit for them. :(
I still learned a lot, though. Even in Calculus, despite my teacher having to invoke Emergency Cookie Day to prevent everyone's brains from exploding.
