ok the title options are mounting up...my title box is so long now im having to start scrolling and i know i havent even got all the present titles that are available in my box yet.
so looking into the future, with each and every new chapter release more and more titles are gonna be available.
does this mean that eventually we are gonna have to endlessly scroll down in the title box just to find the title we want to display?
having say a hundred titles and only being able to wear one at any given time seems puny.
Maybe titles should be catergorised ie
All explorer titles from each chapter coloured say blue
All protectors titles coloured say green
etc etc
that way they are all grouped togethor in the title box as opposed to having to scroll through just to find them.
At the moment its easy to find all titles but in the future.......
just a thought.......
Or perhaps hide every other title when you chose to display a certain title? That would get rid of the clutter. If you then wish to view your titles again, simply deslect the title that you are displaying.
To OP, I would like them categorised into Maxed titles, earned titles and non-earned titles. Expandable/collapsable groups.

A variety of filters in that screen would be pretty useful, especially given the scaling nature of the titles.
I think titles kinda suck at the moment. The only time they're visible is when you're mouse-overing a person and only in an outpost. It's real easy for a title to go unnoticed. I'd prefer if titles where visible any time a character's name is visible (which is not often, actually). And when you mouseover, you should be able to see every title a person has earned. So if a person is a Hero _and_ a Gladiator, you can tell just by a glance.
I think also there should be an option to delete titles if required.
just because i tried a couple of drinks at the dragon festival i now have the drunkards title started to which i have no inclination of pursuing to the end, so being able to delete this and others would mean i can refine my titles to ones that i want to pursue.
Yes in fact thats a bloody good idea, if i do say so myself.
the colour idea i mentioned in the starter post would (on reflection) be better if all prophesy titles was colour banded one colour/ factions another colour and so forth.
At the end of the day something in the future would have to be implemented in order to tidy up the titles box.

I think the titles tab needs some improvment as well. The order is not the same on all characters which makes its a pain when you have 8, 10, or maybe even more characters you regularly play. Which means there needs to be options for sorting the titles kind of like when sorting skills in the skills window. This would allow you to have all explorer titles together, all protector titles together etc. But also other options to sort by alphabetical, completion, maxed out, has displayable title earned, etc. The ability to filter out some titles would be handy too if you are focusing on one or a certain number of them and don't want to have to scroll the list each time you open the window. Since when the number of titles grows beyond the size of the window this will be a problem. Alternatively is allow a remembered state and its scrolled to the place you left it at.
Lastly is the whole displaying your titles issue. Sure you can choose a title to display and only one. Which is kind of a bummer when you really start to get quite a nomber of them displayable. But nobody ever sees the title because unless you mouse over the persons name which almost never happens you don't see the titles. The solution is when holding alt or ctrl (which ever one shows all players names) it should also show the title as seen when you mouse over the names now. I know I would love to just take a broad look around town seeing all the titles they are showing. The problem is if i want to do that now I have to spend like 20 times more time because I have to mouse over the whole town slowly enough to see the titles as I go.
