Is it possible to give characters hero armor? (not a gripe)

This idea has been mentioned in a couple of the armor gripe threads. Do you think it's technically possible to make the hero armor skins available to characters of the correct class and gender?

If so, it would be a wonderful way to add content without tying up much in the way of resources.

I don't know how much trouble there would be in the way of scaling and clipping problems.

They have the models, and since the heroes use emotes, most of the clipping would be out I suppose. That, and clipping issues aren't their biggest concern it seems (Ranger Trenchcoats, no-wrist Mesmers, Gladiator beanbag, ...)

I can't see why they couldn't let heroes and characters have the same set of armor choice, they're character substitutes, afterall.

The only one I'd want, and it would make me make a male Paragon, would be General Morgahns, Cus i HATE all the other armors, I'm not a chick, I'm a gu y, a straight guy (no offense) and i want to look straight.

Yeah, I'd *make* a male paragon just for those armors. I really like many of the female ranger armors too.

I think the heroes should have access to the PvP Armor templates screen.
If you've purchased or obtained a set of armor before, you would have it accessible in the PvP Armor set. No to the inscriptions, runes or mods to it though cause then people would complain that they should be given access to it as well.
Unless of course Anet were to create an armorer with the ability to create this in town or outpost, then that might be pretty cool.

Why does male Paragon armor have nipples, anyway? Was the art department watching Batman and Robin too many times? Given how most of the armor in this game looks, I'm given to think that the artists are all men and all um, you know /cough (not that there's anything wrong with that...at least not inherently, I mean...).

Personally, I'd be happy with being able to dye my heroes armor. Easier to tell them apart from friends' heroes when we're out killing stuff.
