Well I dont see it as off topic, as the topic of discussion was razah and bringing him back. I was trying to address your argument as a whole and suggest reasons i thought it should be the other way around...I am sorry if your post was off topic...lol...

I just wish Norgu wasn't such a dumpy guy
    All Joking aside

You cannot become a ritualist secondary without factions, so you are limited to however many hero skills you can buy for him, with no elites. This spectacular end-game hero seems kinda limited. I mean it is nice and more complete for those people who have ALL the chapters. But this is end-game content for Nightfall.

Who cares? 90% of people would have turned him into a Rit anyway, and if you don't own Factions, you don't have to get him! Of if you want to get him anyway, you don't have to use him.

The way I see it, we've got a hero for each profession, two for some. Also, Hardin is right. What would they have done about the armour? I know that I've been holding out of on putting runes on my heroes because I don't want to buy Koss a superior Swordsmanship rune and find out a month down the road that I want him to be an Axe wielder! I can't imagine how hesitant I would be to put runes on a hero who I wasn't even sure what primary I wanted to make him! It just doesn't seem to make much sense to have a variable prof. Hero. End of story.

let me tell you why razah needs to be variable

its very simple, if you have him, you want to show him off, having him variable means you can use him for any class and aside from some extra runes (wich can be salvaged off of hero armor with no worry of loss) he can be just as good a necromancer as a monk, please if you dont have him dont post your opinion, those of us that have him would love to have him be variable and if enough poeple post here maby anet will make it happen

oh btw i didnt buy mine but anyone that did has just as much if not more of a reason to want him variable.

I posted in frog/gail questions but an easy way to make him variable is to add quests in the game for him to change his profession similar to the prophecies deasert quests where npcs changed your profession after doing quests for them.

for instance he could have to go to cantha and learn from zenmai how to be an assassin, the dialogue between him and her about silent killing could be very entertaining.

Zenmai: here are some skills to get you started
    Razah: whats this one do

razah teleports 30 feet back to the last spirit he summoned

    Spiritwalk ftw.

You can use Balthazar Faction to unlock the Nightfall elite Ritualist skills.
