Besides Tainted Flesh and Virulence spikes... there's not rly much to do with death in PvP.

Hmm... I use Aura of the Litch quite a bit, but certain conditions can kill me rather fast which is why I tend to go N/D for self enchantment removal.

In pvp I only do random arenas, I have seen a couple of minion masters do quite well a couple of times. Usually their elite is Jagged Bones or occasionally it's Flesh Golem.

Going N/Mo is fun when you use Vengenance for your rez skill :)

I don't do much PvP, but as for Death Magic:

    Toxic Chill (e)
    Contagion (e)
    Vile Maisma
    Taste of Pain
    Rising Bile
    Vetid Ground
    Discord
    Bitter Chill
    Virulence (e)
    Vile Touch
    Tainted Flesh (e)
    Rotting Flesh
    Malign Intervention
    Deathly Swarm
    Deathly Chill
    Aura Of The Lich (e)

These are the spells that don't require a corpse under Death Magic. Tainted Flesh + Rotting Flesh is nice. Your party is immune to disease while your enemies are covered in it.

Malign Intervention is to create a minion without any of those corpse deniers. But you can't control it without Verata's Aura/Gaze.

Same way Death Magic works in PvE. You have to find or make a corspe first - even if it's an ally's - and as mentioned above, a lot of DM skills can sort that out for you.
There's no shame in asking questions. Ask away at the Newcomer and Questions Forum for GW2. GW1 archive here.

There are lot's of nice death skills that don't need corpses. I like to go N/W and use signet of agony, with plague touch and vile miasma, throw in a Flesh golem of Jagged bones and you have the makings of a pretty powerful build.

How it works, signet of agony causes bleeding on you as well as the foe, then use plague touch to transfer it followed by vile miasma which will now degen as well as direct damage owing to the condition.

Exploiting Corpses in PvP is usually used to gain momentum in a fight. When you start raising minions or wells, it's harder for the other team to work efficently. The trick is to find a build that operates well when there is no corpses and exploits corpses effectively.

or you can go MM in ab and gank everyone :P

god I hate mms in ab... or at least *good* mms

Death isn't all that great in PvP in my opinon, curses is a very nice line for that.. and blood too.. but curses is just fun.
