Assassin in Nightfall?

Goodday all..

I have Prophecies and Nightfall, today I bought Factions because I want to experience assassin and ritualist as a profession.

So after putting in my key for Factions, I created a new game, to my suprise I could not create an assassin in Nightfall.

Is this normal? Or is there any other way to play Nightfall with assassin or ritualist?

You can only create an Assassin in Cantha, afterwards you can hop him/her to Elona when the time is right.

To elaborate, core professions (the six that were introduced with Prophecies) can be created in any campaign. Expansion professions (assassin and ritualist for Factions, paragon and dervish for Nightfall) can only be created in the campaign that featured him.

As Karuno said, you can just create an assassin and hop him over to Elona after doing Shing Jea Island. You won't be able to do the Istan quests, but since you already own Nightfall I'm guessing you've done those on another character already.

Thanks for the answer, only if I get it right, I wont be able to do the quests/mission from Nightfall with a character I created in Factions?

The quests before "The Time is Nigh" you won't be able to do, but after that the quest chain for the most part proceeds normally as with a Nightfall character. The missions you can not only do, but will need to do every one in order to get the Protector of Elona title. You'll just need to walk to the mission locations in order to do them.
