About me
i've been playing guild wars off and on since release, usually long periods at a time, but i always seem to leave for a bit due to never having found the right guild. i've played daoc, wow, coh, and swg in the past, but always come back to guild wars. i have all 3 games but sadly, my highest character is a level 18 dervish.
What I'm looking for in a guild
- decent size...not too big, and not too small
- pve and pvp, though more or either one isn't a bad thing
- active players who help...i don't want someone to hold my hand, but someone to answer all my dumb questions (the occasional /laugh at me is ok too)
- active forums/website
i'm not real picky about a good guild, as long as it is one that feels like home to me. thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you feel that i would make a good addition to your guild, let me know!

Hi Vnkrier! I know where you are coming from on not being able to find the right home. When I went back to one of my old games the guild I was in had disbanded and I ended up trying 3 or 4 different ones but couldn't find my home. I ended up leaving the game again but when I left I was in NiX b/c my brother in law and b/f had started it. Now we moved to guildwars and we have an awesome family. I've made guilds and I've built some from ground zero, however nothing has ever compared to the family we have here. I would like you to check us out to see if we may be your home :) www.phoenixinquisition.com or contact me in game, Lady Jazmyn Dawn. If you can't find me just contact one of the other officers listed on the front page of the site :) I look forward to meeting you soon and even if you don't find us to be your home I do wish you luck in all your endeavors :)

Hi, the guild I'm in is called "The Heroes of the Realm" [THOR]
We are a European based (Dutch, Belgians, Danes, Finns, English - though all are welcome) primarily PVE guild but have a few dedicated AB players and 2 or 3 rank 5 PvP'ers who enjoy arenas and Halls out of the 45 or so players.
We have some very clear ideals about the way a guild should work and how one conducts oneself within it, this way we have kept a friendly, helpful and laid back playerbase. PM me in game sometime (IGN = Aurelia Dark - add me to friends if I'm on a different character) if you are interested :)
Good luck regardless :)- I know what it's like trying to find a decent guild that actually plays together

Descendants of Ancaria (www.clan-da.com) may be exactly what you are looking for. We are more than a GW guild, but rather a gaming clan, and an online community. Our aim is to have fun in-game while developing a community outside the game. DA was started with a group of Hardcore Sacred online players and has now grown to include Guild Wars and World of Warcraft. We have players from across the world (we play on the American servers) and at nearly any time of the day there are several people on from all parts of the world. We are mainly a PvE guild, but do dabble in semi-organized PvP and GvG battles to have fun.
We are part of a full ten guild alliance who are all a great group of people. If you need any help with anything, both the guildies and alliance members are there to help. There are people running missions in all three of the campaigns nearly all the time.
The guild is structured such to allow you to be as involved and active as you want. We have structured events such as skill capping nights and runs through FoW and the underworld. As well as some scheduled PvP/GvG events. Of course, while you are in-game, asking for help or giving help to others is always welcomed.
If you are interested, take a gander at our website - www.clan-da.com
Register and post in the new user section. While you are there, wander through the GW discussions as well as the other discussions on the forum. If you are wanting to join DA, all we ask is that you post your intention in the form of answering a short questionare. Then, we have a "trial" period where you try DA on to see if this is where you want to stay. Team up with guild members in-game, chat it up on the guild chat or on Teamspeak (we have our own TS server for clan member and guest usage).
Hope to see you soon!

We are just starting out ourselves a fledgling guild but perhaps you could help create the home your looking for with us. ROAR is a community and not a gaming hub. We want to know one another and there is nothing wrong with not knowing everything in the game. I've beaten all three chapters and I'm still learning myself.

Hi,
I’m Aphrodite of KoA... Knights of the Alliance if you want to long version. Let me start with a small bit of KoA history. The guild was founded in 1997 in the game of Diablo. It was moved to Ultima Online when Diablo got old and stayed strong there until just this past year. Small groups have branched off over the years to different games like SB, WoW and CoV. 2 of us branched off here to GW and started the guild the day the box hit the shelves.
We like to think of ourselves as a balanced guild that does everything from PvE to PvP and GvG. We have weekly events on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled for GvG. Any guild member can sign up for the event. We are using these nights to get a feel for our good GvG players and will be making a group within the guild who will have reserved spots for rated GvG. Tuesdays are Hero’s Ascent night. Fridays are set up as PvE night with a scheduled, mission, high end PvE area, or skill capping event. The rest of the nights/times are open to whatever the guild (or individual) feels like doing. These events are optional and are available to all members but not required for membership. We do realize that people have real lives and families, but if you are available we'd love to have everyone who can join in do so.
We are the leaders of a very small alliance consisting of 3 guilds working toward a similar goal of friendship and cooperation first and world domination second. We are in the process of working out all the details so we can add more guilds to the alliance in the near future. The Alliance has chosen the Kurzick faction. We do not have any faction farming requirements.
I should also mention we do have a few requirements just so you are informed. There is a minimum age requirement of 16, but we prefer 18+. We have a dedicated Ventrilo server and require members to use it, as well as the forums. We remove players that are inactive for more than a month just to get rid of dead weight on the roster. Of course, if we have someone go on a long vacation they wouldn’t get kicked as long as we know about it ahead of time. We feel it is better to have a guild of fewer active people than it is to have a large guild that has only a small percentage of active members.
Here are a few general guidelines from the Leader of KoA:
1. Dedication - KoA has always been one of the top guilds in any game we played. Our members work together to make that a reality.
2. Skill - MMORPG's are all about tactics and planning. You must strive to prefect your character(s) class(es).
3. Loyalty/Trust/Friendship - You are encouraged to get to know your fellow guild members inside and outside the game. Our strong bonds of loyalty come from the friendships we have formed over the years.
4. Leadership - Guild Officers can't always be on to make decisions and organize raids. Recruitment is the job of every member in the guild.
5. Patience - Success doesn't happen overnight. Your efforts will be rewarded as the guild grows and strengthens!
6. Maturity - Fighting and arguing are NOT tolerated on the boards or in guild chat. If you have problems with another member take it up with a council member. HOWEVER intelligent constructive criticism IS ALLOWED in an effort to improve on tactics and game play.
Thanks for taking the time to read my short novel. If you like what you read here please check out our guild forums and our website. Feel free to contact us on the public forum or you can whisper me in game. My IGN is Aphrodite Sky. I look forward to hearing from you.
