Why do you play games?

Personal amusement. I'm guessing that isn't specific enough though?

how many hours each week do you play?

It really varies. Lately, I've been concentrating more on my studies and thus haven't had as much time for gaming; usually, I find myself just browsing the web, reading forums and watching replays of other people playing games, such as Super Smash Brothers videos on youtube, or replay videos on various RTS games. So probably no more than 8 hours a week, tops ::x

It also helps that I'm bored with most of my games.

Because i can find myself in a place i always wanted to be, out of the real world that surrounds me. I can have my private place without anyone invading it.

Q2:
If i have nothing to do, 6+hrs weekdays, 10+weekends.

30 or so? Varies quite a bit.

Why do you play games

As Drec said, because of the fun. I don't have a TV at home (Ya, I know that that is really strange...). I play MMORG's because I like to meet people all over the world.

Hours per week?

Depends. If I'm busy with school, I play like 8 hours a week, but when I have holiday or just a relax-week, I'll play 15+ hours.

I play games for my own entertainment and as my little escape from reality. Usually, I only play 5-10 hours a week.

I play games for entertainment, and to socialise with friends that I don't know in real life (I mainly play GW these days).

I play about 10 hours a week, a bit more if its a very relaxed week.
