Just tried Urgoz (first time in AGES coz of weekend event) and they 'fixed' the rebirth trick under the bridge, BUT, they havent fixed the portals... whats with that... So, game over :(
That says so much about the way this game is managed, broken bits left unfixed, but work arounds 'fixed'. Pfff.. im lost for words.
Any1 else got any good examples of this type of madness?

In all fairness, the rebirth trick has been around a lot longer than the portal bug, and considering how dead the Deep has been since Nightfall's launch I wouldn't be surprised if ANet didn't even know there was a problem with heroes and the Deep's portals. Now that lots of people are encountering it, I'd imagine they'll find out about it rather quickly.
That's not a bug, that's a design feature as described by Jonathan Peters (Arena Net designer) a while ago. And no, the Rebirth "bug" cannot be fixed - it's part of the lack of height in GW, and unless that is added it will always be there. What happens (what has always happened) is that mispositioning yourself will result in being ressurrected below the bridge, not above it.

The necrotic traversal/consume corpse/rebirth to get to the top of a bridge glitch was fixed somewhere around the first of the year. The subject has been discussed in numerous places (see the GuildWiki Grandmaster Cartography Guide talk page for one example) and no one has reported being able to make it work since New Year.
