Windows Vista

I need some help here if possible, my brother bought my nephew a new computer which came with Windows Vista on it. I of course rushed out and bought him a GW Prophecy game and tried to install it but cannot get past the opening click to install. Nothing happens. Is there any way to play GW on Vista? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know much about Vista, but if it's like WinXp, it will have a built-in firewall and you will need to let gw.exe and gwsetup.exe have access to the internet.

Did it just sit there or did it crash/exit? Is it trying to connect to the update server? Check your firewall, as MoonUnit suggested. It could be trying to connect to the update server and the system is blocking it.

There are people who are running GW in Vista, so it may just be a configuration or driver issue.
