man that thread title gave me a total wrong idea about the content

As for flashy animation, i suspect lag issues for the majority of players and the final out for some players using old pc's. I don't see a reason to put them in if it means reducing the community. And on a sidenote, it ain't the special effects that make a good film, same goes for animation and games. I had more fun with some low-pixel games back on snes then with those uper-graphic games on the latest stations.

    I totaly agree with Orca.

And if it could lead to lag. Give it "Hide in town/outpost" stuff. Like your cape and hat.

You wouldn't need a "hide it in town" option, as weapons aren't shown in towns. :P

add in quivers with infinite arrows, or at least sell cheap arrows lol
    (10000000 for 1g),

then you can add in bow strings, and (my dream) DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS FOR DIFFERENT STAT POINTS IN A WEAPON MASTERY!

-i don't expect a master swordsman to swing like an amateur one, and i don't expect a noob archer to hit a target as many times.

I totally agree with all in this thread about everything..

Graphical weapon skins exist in the form of FDS and IDS already so why not bow strings?
To have weapons shown in towns is a nice idea as well:
warrior swords in their scabards and shield across their back
Ranger bows across their backs and quiver strapped to the thigh.

Not sure where casters would put their staffs /wands but not only would it look cool but it would be even better if we could handle weapons in town as well for trading purposes.
To be able to stand in front of a potential buyer/seller and see it rather than make a party and go out town to would make things easier.

Anyway a post like this really should go to the suggestion section that way Anet would notice the post.....Here in the Ranger section where Anet hate the Ranger class this will go un-noticed....maybe?

yeah, and they aren't placed on the best of skills either. however, one of my favorite animations is becoming seen slightly more... Shield of Deflection.

tbh, any string animation is a good start, as well as maybe a quiver or something?
