Grouping for the Newcomer

That quest is Adventure with an Ally. Just press Shift-1 (!) while in Ascalon and type into Chat that you would like to do this quest with someone.

You do that to just chat? The quicker was is to just hit enter and then start typing.

Well, just hitting enter and starting to type won't do you much good if the last conversation was in Guild chat for instance.

Hitting "!" guarantees that you are in "all" chat, not just in chat mode, which could be the wrong one for what you are trying to accomplish.

Each chat channel has its own symbol depicted on the chat tabs.
