Now this is a mission i really CANT stand
since i bought NF the only char i have played up to GoM is my dervish
and well i have discoverd that dervish isnt wanted in groups and that havent been a problem but jeesus this mission is crazy its a long slow mission with super boss in the end :(
heros/hench just doesnt work and there is no way i can get in a group
so i dont know what to do .. Shiro just keep owning me Lich is np at all but shiro just *argh*
any tips on beating this mission ?

Hench and hero is the only way to go on this mission. Do not pug this one.
Your setup
couple of scythe attacks (2-4)
mirage cloak
conviction
mystic regen
rebirth
maybe protective spirit if you can fit it
Set Up-Depends on which heroes you chose
1 SS Necro (SS, Isidious parasite, reckless haste, barbs, spirit of failure, rebirth)
1 SV Necro or ele if you dont have (Spoil Victor, vamp gaze, dark pact, barb sig, sig of angony, well of blood
1 heal monk (word of healing, vig spirit, healing seed, then whatever)
2 hench monks
Gehraz
Herta
Just blow thru the mission be sure to use the exploit so you dont have to fight the shiro'ken. Basically flag your heros low on the hill, run up to activate the boss's talking then run back down. A mob will spawn and open a lower gate then go up the hill just go thru the gate to get to the portals.At the portals flag the hench and pull enemies focus on killing wriaths first they are the only danger.
Final bosses
Flag hench about and aggro circle outside the door then pull. If the dress wearer doesnt pull then just kill the non-dress wearer. Make sure hes only attacking you and gehraz. The combo of curses will far out weigh the boss's healing. You will probably die alot but as long as its just you and gehraz are the only one dieing it doesnt matter. If the dress wearer comes too arrgo him so that hes waning thru the wall and just stand there while your heroes kill him but be sure to not touch the other boss while the dress wear is attacking or you could be wiped.
Using this set up i have finished this mission with 7 different classes on the first try.(havent tried with monk, rit, or war yet)
How many times did you attempt this mission? When I hero/henched NF I would hit a few missions that were very hard for my first time, dzagonur took me 8 attempts to really figure out (remember, I had NO CLUE what these missions were about/like/etc.). Gate of Madness took 2-3 attempts to complete, and after completing with several characters I have mastered almost all of NF missions with hero/hench. As with most of GWs game play, the more you do it, the more you learn, the easier it gets.
The first major hurdle for much of the Torment areas for a Dervish is understanding you DO only have 70 AL. Overcoming that hurdle is the first step, the next is developing a team that can cope with your situation. Finally you develop a team that can master your situation.
One suggestion off the top of my head would be an affect that blinds when you are hit (sorry I haven't played a derv lately and I forget if this is an option). If you blind Shiro every time he hits, that alone will help some. As mentioned previously effects that cause Shiro to miss, and more importantly still deal him damage, is HUGE.
Curse necros and domination mesmers makes Shiro about as much damage as a 5-year-old kid with a wiffle bat. Throw in a good warrior/dervish tank (this would probably be your character's job) with Shields Up and Wild Blow and you shouldn't have any deaths at all during the fight. A damage reduction Command/Leadership paragon is also nice- the last two slots should go to heavy damage dealers- Victor necros and aeromancers tend to work best in my experience, though a ranger or even an assassin could help as well- just make sure not to bring ANY condition-causing skills.
As Erasc said though, unless you know what you're doing wrong, people can't help you beyond giving general advice. And if you DO know what you're doing wrong, it can be fixed quite easily.

Its easy with heroes and hences. Take a necro,koss and monk hero. henchs are 2 monks,1mesmer, 1 fire ele.
After closing the portals there is a gate opening to shiro and lich. before passing from gate, place koss to the entrance. place rest of team behind just koss where is a corner of walls on left side. ur heros can cast behind the wall.as a dervish i took agro from shiro and ran back near koss. shiro couldn t pass us even im dead 2 times
my heros done the mission and rsurrected me

Ok Ty all for the tip i finaly got trough with hench/heroes on second try after reading this ;)
but shiro is really hard me koss and hench derv had so many deaths i cant even count :) but it wasnt even near a party wipe since u flag monks and caster a bit back so again TY all !=)

I am SS necro with reckless haste and took MOW with SV and we owned him. Got masters first time. The trick is to keep him hexed at all times. Because if he starts dancing like a ballerina with your friends around its big time damage. :) Oh and Goren hammer build helped a lot too. Knockdowns rule in this game no one ever thinks about how huge it is to have someone on the ground for 4 seconds. I have been taking Goren and Koss with hammer builds lately to map Poisoned outcrops and target each of them to a different caster and its over. Jin takes the monk with Broadhead. Easy Pickins![]()

Just beat Gate of Pain And Gate Of Madness twice today. All heros and henchies. Once on my ELE and the other on my monk. Too easy if you know what to kill first and watch your agro bubble.
