Help With Game!

I Was Just Wondering..Why I Still freeze when Playing guild wars..when i mean freezes..i didnt meant like it FREEZES and the game stops..it moves but like my fps goes 10-30 only and dat means it like freezes every 0.5 sec....

my comp specs are like higher than recomemnded one..here are my pc specs:

My Comp Spec:

Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4 2.6 GHz
1024 GB RAM
80 GB(33.8 GB Used)
nVidia Geforce 6200 With 128 Of VRAM
Sounds Doesnt Matter to Me..
Cable Internet Connection(Fast)
Keyboard and mouse

i think its because of the visible range..anyone know how to lower the visible range?..like how far it can see..i wanna make it low..thx..
