i recently made a NF warrior just because i felt like being one for once and so that i can buy the primevil armor at the end of NF. I decided to set him up as an axe warrior because of the bigger damage spike instead of the constant damage of a sword. Im just wondering if i should use tactics or strength, and what kind of axe i should use. I actually just bought a gold 15%^50health max zealous shadow axe with an armor +7 mod [going to be putting a +30 health mod once i find one] for 1k! So gimme your thoughts and any ideas for a first time warrior![]()

In PvE, Tactics is a tad better because of the shouts and Heal Sig. Lions comfort is the STR based heal but the other skills in STR tend to be more PvP based.
doesen't really matter, whatever your shield needs, put your points into there.
for PvE, you don't need a heal, you will always have a monk watching your back, i prepher making spiker-like PvE builds, so im heavily investing in strength. as you are an axe war, i'd say strength as long as you have a strength-related shield. tactics are of little use to you, you don't use riposte and use a shield , so im guessing you can sacrifice a bit of defense for pure damage.
BTW, a hammer can spike harder than an axe; and i have a 6-hit kill axe build (against 60AL, no skills on their part), so im guessing if you want to go for the spikes use a hammer, it's slow, but there's nothing like swinging a giant rock and feeling the *crack* of your enemies' skulls.
