I don't see why they have to be reused skins. Think about it? Is it so hard to believe Dhuum imploys demons just the same as Abaddon? I don't have trouble with that.

On the matter of the demons, I'm gonna have to say that the "Emissaries of Dhuum" are just reused skins. Plus, it would seem kind of odd if a spider were talking to the Lich o.O But I think we're forgetting Kormir's dialogue with the players. Didn't Kormir say that she didn't have any of Abaddon in her, just his power and knowledge? If someone feels like pulling that conversation up in exact words, that'd be great ^^

She does say, "His will is gone". So I don't think he's coming back at all which indicates Dhuum had gone through something else. Unless if Abaddon has gone hiding in Kormir's conscience, only his powers remain.

Demons are not Abaddon's. They are born from the Mists, and have a will just like any human. Some choose to follow Abaddon, some Dhuum.

You know, when I read that Dhuum is likely insectoid, it got me to thinking. It's possible that Dhuum survived his battle with Grenth because Dhuum is not a singular entity. He may be an amalgamation of his insect minions, like a Hive Mind, and even if his 'body' was destroyed it could be made anew.

Basically my inspiration for this comes from Oogie Boogie, the villain of Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Oh dear... that would be quite the genre-crosser. I think it would be interesting, though, if the minions of Dhuum were once normal people assimilated into his army. Maybe that's why he's sucking souls out of the Domain of Pain!

Then again, it would just be a rehash of what Shiro did. Maybe Dhuum was his inspiration?

Well, it says that the Titans are twisted souls. And Dhuum does "feed" on souls, and was kicked out of the position of god of death for being corrupt, so who knows.

I too can see the possibility of Abaddon still being alive in a sense that it has become, or could become, a split personality within Kormir. But then again through his own means, I doubt he could resurface into his true form. He may take over or Kormir but then that would just put her in the same situation as himself. ....
