Is there any way to change your allegiance?

Say from luxon to Kurz? or whatever its called... I went with Lux only finding out later my guild is with Kurz. Now if I do alliance battles how does this work do i get Kurz faction or luxon? I want to get this 10K faction over with already lol. Also can I get any lux or kurz faction with a pvp toon? Thanks...

Your guild + alliance are both Kurzick, however you can freely swap between the two simply by having more faction than the other. You can obtain faction through questing, alliance battles and PvPvE things (Fort Aspenwood and the permanently empty Jade Quarry)

You can only hold 10K faction, so if you plan on getting more, you will either want to exchange what you have for Amber at House Zu Heltzer, or Jadeite at Cavalon, or donate it to the alliance via the NPC in your Guild Hall or HzH/Cav.

Also, if you plan on doing quests from the other side, you may want to offload your current faction as explained above.

For example, if you cash in Luxon faction while having Kurzick faction, you will lose a bit of Kurzick Faction for each donation you make.

Ok I am still a noob I guess when it comes to certain things in this game. Anyway I remember getting quest from an npc asking who I would fight for luxon or kurz and I chose luxon and now all my quest after that have been for lux. s there a way for me to get Kurz quest and when I give in my faction points to GH what do I get for it? Is there a way to exchange kurz faction for kurz? I have 5k lux and dont want to just waste it. Thanks again...

You should have a quest called "Journey to House zu Heltzer" if not, pop back to Maatu Keep and talk to Jamei there. From there you'll go to Altrumm Ruins and then into HzH. There you'll have a bunch of Kurzick quests you can do.

From HzH you'll get a primary quest "Befriending the Kurzicks". If you're already working on Luxon faction, I highly recommend not taking these quests until you've befriended the Luxons.

If you donate your faction, then you can slowly work your way to a title "Friend of the Kurzicks/Luxons". Donating faction also allows your alliance to own a town. Unless you are in a Faction Farming Alliance I wouldn't worry about this.

You gain faction in AB for the side that your guild is allied with. If you're working on your Befriending the Luxons quest and trying to get to 10k faction through ABing, get a guest invite from a Luxon guild. That won't make you leave your present guild but will mean you can enter the guest guild hall and talk to the AB NPC to fight on the Luxon side for eight hours, til the guest invite expires. I know you can AB with a PvP character, and I know that faction is account-based rather than character-baed, so I *assume* PvP characters will accumulate faction from ABing in exactly the same way that a PvE one, although I can't say it's so for certain.

To use up faction from one side or the other, either hand it to the faction transfer NPC to boost your "Friend of" title and your guild's faction, or hand it in to the rewards NPC to get crafting materials that you can sell or use to make armour. It's best to only accumulate faction for one or the other side at a time, as you lose it from one side when you cash it in for the other side. Plus everything that Kamara already said.

Yep, I use a PvP character quite often in ABs and have been adding to my faction title just fine ^_^.

Ok I am going to try to do the repeatable Jade arena quest. But now for some reason I am having a horrible time getting back to archipelagos to many mobs and I keep dying. Anyone have a more direct route to get from either breaker hollow or Cavalon. I also accepted the supply quest and I hear that it makes it harder to get there if yuo do accept it. Is this true? Thanks...
