I, for one, am excited about the news on the new GW game and the announced beta testing beginning in 2008.![]()
I'm sure we have a lot of game veterans here, so the question: is it luck of the draw to be picked for a beta tester, and what does it involve? And to Gaile (if you know) how will the beta test be announced?
I'd sign up right now if I could!![]()

imo Anet should allow everyone who bought gW to beta test..
I hope the beta-testers know that it does not only mean free gaming, but reporting bugs. Some people just play the beta, but don't care about reporting bugs, or giving feedback to the devs.
But hey, it's still more than a year from now, so I'll guess we'll find out when the time is right.
Absolutely...nothing better than working and playing at the same time. I'm all up for it. I was just hoping that someone that has beta tested before can shed some light on what's involved.

I'd definately be up for it. I missed out on GW beta testing, and the release as I hadn't even heard of it until a month after release. Would be very good if we could be given access as a reward for our hours of gameplay over the years.
