Does Barbie have a purpose? Can Action Man carry your stuff?
Is there a valid reason why that lump of dogmess has been unceremoniously dumped outside your front gate?

Exactly! For children, Barbie and Action Man are toys for play, not work.
For adults, they are collector's items. Neither serve any useful purpose.

i don't see any harm in having a useful purpose for the minipets like for instance being like a second inventory or giving you more storage space or giving you +1 health regen or something. if you don't want to use it you don't have to

    /unsigned

I'd rather see mini-pets giving a buff in an instance.

    i.e.

mini-titan active = +10% resistance to fire for character or group.
mini-Greased Lightning active = you or the group move 33% faster

They are just to show off... No need for function or anything...

What I wanted was a Bestiary. That would be cool.

Allow me to rephrase. Not everything in life has to have a PRACTICAL purpose. The Barbie thing was a perfect example. Its a toy, for entertainment and collecting. It cannot carry your luggage for you. It does not offer you better protection against cold weather or protect you from knife cuts. And there are certain editions of Barbie that look vastly different and are worth far more money than the ones on the shelves today.

I will put in the idea of adding an extra 'equipment' slot for the pet so it doesn't take up an active inventory slot when you have it. But adding utility to mini-pets is just as pointless as going to the Mattel factory and insisting they re-inforce Barbie's arms so she can carry things for you.

I agree with terakhan. I wouldn't suggest adding a function to the pets because it's a collection or something you choose to have. But i do think a collection needs his own place, something like a pet storage.

better idea and it came to me when i seen a kirin and my fire imp stand facing each other. lets pit them aginst each other in combat. set up little arenas in the towns and we could bet on the fights.

i know it sounds like in being sarcastic but im not joking i think that would be the greatest addition to the game ever.
