Good job people. I like the show off. I still have to do some good HA to be as cool as you people ^^ (only the deer isnt quite a 'show off' since everyone can get it fairly easy) (for example: I've had my 36 fame in a few hours) (with my HA noob friends) (well one was a r11 ^^)

I agree with most of what David Holtzman said, with the exception of the above in bold.
I know of many bad players who are high rank, and I know of even more players who gained rank through the old days of IWAY, and even when IWAY died, there was always a gimmick that was being used in order to adquire fame from baseless wins by copying someone else's build to the proverbial "T".
At some point during Prophecies, maybe early factions, tombs and fame meant something, eventually, it just turned into an indicator of how much IWAY or other derivative the player has endured...
In other words, I agree with the original poster, in that, rank matters very little, I won and held halls with some guildmates a long time ago as an infuse monk running aura of faith... and of course, hilarity ensued when my uber rank 2(or was it rank 3? I don't remember) was announced during one of our halls victories... rank matters very little these days, that's pretty much it.
