Ok, I was using a P/Me with expel hexes, but I didn't like it at all.... Expel hexes kept getting S. of Humilitied, etc etc, leaving my team defenseless. We are a hex team, but we fought a hex team very much like ours with much more skill. With only expel hexes and holy veil, we quickly crumbled as expel was signet of humilitied over and over again...
So could I change my paragon build to something like this?
What I did, is I took out all motivation. Instead of Wild Throw, I replaced it with hex breaker aria, to effectively take out 1 hex on everyone except the two warriors.
Cry of Frustration replaced Go For The Eyes!... What this paragon can do is switch back to the mesmer as a target every.. 15 seconds, and Cry his signet of humility... Instead of having a teammate do it, which takes a lot of coordination.
Paragon/Mesmer
12+1 Leadership 12+1+1 Spear Mastery
Expel Hexes (E)
Anthem of Flame
Hexbreaker Aria
Cry of Frustration
Mirror of Disenchantment
Aggressive Refrain
Spear of Lightning
Signet of Return
Would it work? Or do you guys suggest something else.

If you're going to take all the paragon skills off, why not just run a mesmer?

Um, I just don't like that build. Hex breaker Aria is just crappy. 8 Adrenaline needed with a 2 second cast for 1 hex removed off of only spell casters? Most hex teams bring more warrior hate hexes then caster so essentially you will be removing conjure phantasm off the one person on your team being migrained.
Not only that forcing your Paragon to babysit the Mesmer is as bad as just making someone else do it. If you are still using the build you posted on these forums then I suggest replacing the conjure on the Warriors with some interupts.
A few well placed interupts can do more for your team then the Conjures can.
Of course that is why my team rarely runs a build without a Ranger, mainly for the interupts. The things can hurt or even cripple another team's offense OR defense.
Or use Mesmer, because he would be better at what you are trying to do with that Paragon.
You have almost 0 energy management, and your build will start to suck. You've got 2 15 energy skills, a 25 energy skill, a 5 energy elite your going to need to spam, your only shout/chant costs energy, netting you only 1 energy at best every 10 seconds and your only attack skill requires energy. You need Go for the Eye's back in the build as e-management. Even then, it'll still be too energy intensive for a paragon. Mirror or Cry will have to be dropped.
Your team needs to plan better for anti-hexes, as hexway is currently meta. 1-2 Copies of Holy Viel + 1 Expel won't do much of anything... I strongly suggest 1-2 other strong hex removals(along the lines of purge signet and/or convert hexes and/or elite hex removal).

okay thanks for the valid points...
Could you guys give me a mesmer build that WOULD synergize well in a standard hex build? (You know... reaper's mark, icy shackles, and 2 warriors)... Preferablly with signet of humility, since one signet of humility isn't usually enough.
Oh, and would it be ok if I dropped aegis + holy veil on both my monks, and instead put in signet of devotion and deny hexes? Since hexway seems to be so popular now. I don't really think we need aegis with a ton of anti melee hexes going around.
Active preventation? i.e., dshot the hum sig etc? I think a few guilds run a panic mesmer in addition to the migraine and RM.

A simple application of rust on your n/e or water elly. Cheaper then Ignorance and will allow your Panic to be placed elsewhere for greater effect.

Paragons are not casters, with two pips of energy regen why would you bother with a Mes secondary at all, and waste a Paragon elite slot?
If you must play caster then be a Monk secondary with convert hexes and a purge sig, the point being that you want to clean off a whole hex stack in one go as you can't provide the energy to spam hex removals.
