Hey, i've never had this problem before but recently when i run gamecam and start guild wars it crashes just before the login screen appears with a error message.
The first part says this...
Has anyone had this problem recently? If so it might be one of the latest guild wars builds - if not I'll reinstall i guess..*--> Crash <--*
Exception: c0000005
Memory at address 0000250c could not be written
App: Gw.exe
ProgramId: 1
Build: 22148
When: 5/31/2007 20:36:17
Flags: 0
Thanks
Inchino
Ps. when gamecam isn't on gw works fine - so i guess it's a newer build of gw or something.
hasnt happened to me when iam using gamecam
Don't have a problem either, so I'd assume the problem is likely with you one way or another.
I can only really suggest that you reinstall Gamecam, update/reinstall video drivers (as I personally have no idea what any of those crash codes mean) and ask over at their support forum as you'll likely have more luck there (doing a quick search no one has mentioned any real issues with Guild Wars lately).
Make sure you read this first though
Another possibility is that there's a bad bit or bits at higher memory, so changes to the size of Gamecam and/or GW caused you to hit the unstable bit in a bad way. Try running Memtest86+ and see if it finds anything.

Yep, run memtest to check your ram. Otherwise, my best guess is that you have something running on your system that's locking out areas of your ram that GW was trying to access, so it crashed. What's your video card, and do you have anything integrated, like sound or video? Those are reasonably likely culprits to give an error like that one.
Your video drivers could also be bad or unstable. If there's a more recent version than what you're using you might want to wipe them and update them, or roll back to an older version to see if you're still crashing.
It could also be your cam app is leaking memory. Uninstall and update if you can.
Profile manager is the problem because when ever i open it it errors. i tried un and re installing and even repairing it but nothing![]()
