    Thumbs up allegience titles, now LESS grindy! 5k rep = 10k toward title track

    Update - Monday, June 18, 2007
    [edit] Skill Updates

    As a part of this playbalance test week, we’ve made the following skill changes:
    [edit] Assassin

    * Critical Agility: decreased duration to 4 seconds, the duration now increases by 1 second for each rank of Critical Strikes.

    [edit] Elementalist

    * Elemental Lord: decreased the bonus to Elemental attributes to 1.
    * Intensity: decreased duration to 10 seconds, increased recharge time to 45 seconds.

    [edit] Mesmer

    * Cry of Pain: decreased recharge time to 15 seconds.
    * Ether Nightmare: decreased recharge time to 15 seconds.

    [edit] Paragon

    * "There is Nothing to Fear": decreased duration to 4 seconds, the duration now increases by 1 second for every 2 ranks of Leadership.

    [edit] Ritualist

    * Vamprism: increased duration to 30..150 seconds.

    [edit] Faction Reward NPCs

    * Characters must now be level 20 to learn Kurzick or Luxon skills.
    * Using the "Raise Alliance reputation" option with the Kurzick/Luxon faction reward NPCs now gives 10,000 points toward the corresponding title track. The cost is still 5,000 faction points, and the reputation gained by the alliance is still 5,000.

    [edit] Miscellaneous

    * Moved the footman away from the middle teleporters of the Jade Isle to prevent players from targeting them from below.
    * Faction gain messages are no longer displayed in the Chat panel when you gain less than 25 faction points.
    * Updated the Korean game ratings icons.

    So, CA and TNtF are only real useful on primaries now, ele skills got a huge nerf, mesmer buffed, rit buffed.

    Ah, nice for Mesmers (although the Intensity adjustment slightly hurts CoP).

    Critigal Agility got hit pretty hard, but how's it involved with the Sunspear title if it has no effect on the time?

    E-Lord: Darn, I wanted to see those L21 skills, too...

    TNtF: no biggy, my team always has a primary paragon in it anyway, and as SY! is still fine, it's all good.

    Vampirism: ehh... okay. No battle lasts that long, so it seems superfluous.

    Ether Nightmare:


    They should double all of the faction on our titles prior to the 6/15 update since all that faction was directly donated [and it was all kept track of-it has nothing to do with total faction or anything else-it's just the faction that was used to get the titles]. It seems unfair to those people who grinded (ground?) those titles down when now it's half the effort to get what they got.

    Generally I like the changes, but have to try them in-game. Woot!

    Should've held off on donating faction. Oh well, still a long ways until the first rank anyway. :(

    CA has the armour bonus linked, and I am slighty annoyed I wasted a bunch of faction grinding my title...

    It's a huge boon when coupled with Summon Spirits. I was hoping for a duration increase.

    Ha, Anet just saved me the trouble of trying to earn the FotL title by making the Ele skills complete trash. Thanks.

    I dig it. When I run an offensive spirit build, I'll try to set up in a location where I can pull multiple groups into the spirit nest. Pain and Bloodsong could last through a couple of battles without recharge, leaving me to focus on pulling and maintaining shadowsong and any other short lived spirits. I appreciate the longer duartion on vampirism for that reason.
