Hey Azure,

First, thanks for the map you provided for me earlier. I got to 98 thanks to it. But now I lost track, as to which green spots I checked already.
So, I went step by step doing this guide for comparison to try and do it myself. However, the result is a bit different and somewhat hard to read. You see, all those big chunks of the continent around explorables are green too, which makes looking for spots at the edges impossible. On your pictures, the area around is simple non-transparent gray. How do I accomplish that? I want to try it myself, before bothering you with this again.

Make sure the copied layer isn't "floating" in GIMP. I'm not sure what's the proper place to change the setting but by double clicking on the layer's name and renaming it seem to do the trick.

Ok I have a slight problem. I got to "-Run Texmod.exe, set target application to GW.exe, go to package mode, browse for the package "cartographer.tpg", run Guild Wars."
After this I wasnt sure whether I need to click Run on texmod, then open GW, or open GW 1st then click run on texmod. I try both and just get this:

Read the instructions in the first post, or those made by Renn a couple of pages back. Your resolution MUST be set to 1024 x 768, that screenshot is 800 x 600.

If you are using Photoshop instead of GIMP:

-Open 100% Map. In Layers panel, go to Channels tab.
-You should see RGB, Red, Green, and Blue. Select Red and Green layers only (use Shift, not Ctrl), right click the Red layer, select delete. You should now see a funky yellow-magenta map.
-Open your map. Go into Channels tab in Layers panel again. Select Red layer.
-Copy&Paste the funky colored 100% Map. Enable RGB layer if it isn't already. This creates a map with green color as the part you have yet to uncover and red color as the part you have uncovered but the 100% map didn't.

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, and thank you if you can provide a more clear explanation.

It's okay now, Hungarian sites load extremely slowly for me for some odd reason. I had that image loading in a page for around 15 minutes and it was still going. I got a hungarian friend to download it for me and send it which worked alot better...
