I've been experimenting with this build:
16 Fire Magic
12 Energy Storage (or 13, can't remember)
6 Illusion Magic
It relies on people staying in the flames' AoE. I use Meteor and Imagined Burden to help 'em stay in. Nothing is better than starting a match by casting all 3 on the enemy's team all while they're standing next to eachother.
Basically, when the flames hit them for even a very short amount of time, they do very nice damage.
The downside is that, obviously, I can't keep them in long, unless they're stupid (and many people are).
Imagined Burden is only 50% less speed. If I cast Savannah Heat on someone standing still, with Imagined Burden on them, they'll still only take one tick, possibly two. If they happen to stay in it long enough for me to cast Meteor, it's still not enough.
So, should I keep running this build? When people stand in the flames, their health goes down VERY fast. But when they don't...I'm kind of screwed. Do you guys have any suggestions of how to keep them in better? Is there a non-elite that will reduce someone's movement speed by 90%, other than Iron Mist (which obviously wouldn't work in this scenario)?
