spoiler hidden text

ok ive been here for over 2 years now.

im wondering how do you get the text hidden behind the spoiler tag.

stupid question i know but it just annoys me when i dont know how to do something like that.

To reiterate in more detail.

It works the same as the quote tags, image tags and so on. You simply wrap whatever you wish to be hidden behind the spoiler tag in between [SPOILER][/SPOILER]

Quick example:

[SPOILER]I moved this thread to Forum Support[/SPOILER]

Would show:

Spoiler

I moved this thread to Forum Support

There's a caveat to the spoiler text, however.

When you hover over a thread title, there is popup text for the first bit of the thread contents. The actual amount varies from browser to browser, but the important thing to note is that the popup text disregards the tags and shows content, even if it's enclosed in spoiler tags.

This really only applies to the first post in a thread, but it is something to keep in mind.
