Bothers me that everything these days is about dark Batman. Growing up with The Animated Series, I much prefer a more light-hearted Batman, where no one ever actually dies.

Both look a bit darker. The second one looks weird as heck lol

Thank goodness! Been a long time since we heard of ALF. Remember ALF, Bart?? He's back! But in POG FORM!
The second one will be darker, if they stick to the comic it's based on. Frank Miller doesn't do light-hearted.
That CGI thing... gah, that just looks awful.
My sentiments exactly. That Smurfs movie was one of the most godawful things to ever hit the silver screen since Batman and Robin, or the last Indiana Jones movie. I love ALF, and I'm glad they got the original voice actor... but goddamn, with that producer onboard it will be absolutely rubbish.

How hard is it to stick to source material?
I mean, they are redoing stuff that was successful, right?

Nothing but the truth
In Washington, D.C., a female reporter faces a possible jail sentence for outing a CIA agent and refusing to reveal her source.
This is a movie about "national security vs. free press", with good acting by pretty much everybody (Kate Beckinsale as the reporter, Matt Dillon, Alan Alda etc.), but it was pretty boring. Perhaps you have to have some emotional tie to the American constitution, to make it work.
5/10
I will see "Brave" next Tuesday with a friend (The Amazing Spiderman isn't running anymore, which was our original plan; I am happy I could talk her out of "Ted", which looked awful, judging by the trailer I just saw on IMDB) and Prometheus by myself a few days later.
