I would believe only in a God that knows how to Dance. - Friedrich Nietzsche
Yes! I kept on saying it would be awesome if Ventari returned and there he is! Anyway, now to read what he says. Thanks for posting this Nietzsche.
Other favourite NPCs making a return include....
Molenin
Krak Flamewhip
I think what he's standing next to is more interesting. I have an idea what it might be, but I could be wrong, I guess those who finished the game might know, so I'm gonna leave this thread just until I finish. :D
The thread title has the word "spoilers" in it, so I don't feel any qualms about doing this: During the end cutscene, Ogden narrates something to the effect of "...whatever new life appears..." while the screen is focused on that (seemingly immobile) tree-like thing next to Ventari. Given that there are no mention of the Sylvari that I could see, anywhere, I would say that's the closest we're getting to a hint at their existence.
We should have got him for a hero instead of lousy Zhed.

I rather they made Gwen the Elementalist. Then Ventari be the mesmer (they are pacifist, as in not thing destructive, but lot deceit, lol). That way we don't have to bother with Zhed. Zhed got an annoying personality, lol.

Would be very interesting for a bonus dialogue between Zhed and Ventari, if you bring the teenage spellslinging stud, where Ventari tries to impart some wisdom on the four-legs, but it falls on deaf ears. Sadly, that's not the case.
