Help me out a little.....

I am doing a study kinda thing for my English Language course. It's all about internet language and terms, such as all the initialisms and acronyms that are used, as well as metaphors and slang. Examples of such, would be ROFL, LMAO, Flames, Trolls, Trolling, Flame bait, you know, the sort of words that you only find online.

Anyway, I would really appreciate it if you could all take a few minutes to think up as many internet terms/slang/euphemisms or whatever and post them here, as it would really help me!

I have already had that list up, and have used it, I am just trying to see whether there are any unique terms or ones not listed on there that the community can come up with.

But thanks anyway. Remember it's not just slang, metaphors, euphemisms, anything, it all helps me!

Ps. As you can see, ROFLcopter wasn't listed, that's what I am looking for, any terms not listed on the wiki.

Same here.. most of them look like they are from AOL chat or somethin'

One I didn't see that I tend to use is "gz" which is shorthand for congratulations.

We have a fair number listed in this thread although many of those are specific to Guild Wars.
