Pls help a nub!

Hey all!

I am playing GW since 1 n half years now. I am really getting bored with pve to be honest. I played RA and AB just for fun. But as GW is not imprroving Pve side anymore i am turning more and more to PvP.

But realised that Heroe's Ascent is a quiet closed community. If u re not ranke 3 or higher u cant get close to a team. From 1 way i understand this couse every team wants to win it but this way i cant get into this.

My first question is how can i start playing in heroes ascent if no 1 take me?

My second question is wich builds workin great there? Elite skills are not problem i unlocked them all in Pve. Wich recent builds are good there for a nublet like me :)

Joining a HA Guild is your best bet.

Ok then, some more adivce:

1. Get Vent.
2. Fix your spelling and grammer, make yourself look respectable at least.
3. Don't deny what high ranks critise about you just because they sound harsh, 99% of the time, they're right.
4. Don't play gimmicks/FotM/Imba builds.

HA is a pain in the *** to get into if you have no rank.

and well, even if english isnt your first languge, thiers no need to get all crazy because someone gave you the advice you asked for.

all the other things shudda mentioned are the best shot you have of getting in a team that isnt going to get rolled in 5 mins.

if u want a get fix quick, try leading a team, but if you dont have the balls or the skill to do that then this wont work either.

Well about the 2nd this is my opinion:

Hmm lets see! U think i should respect you couse:

- u have shown any respect towards me and my question
- ur first answer to my question was only good to frighten ppl away from HA
- or when i told this to u, u started joking about my "grammer" and spelling...
(yop i am not perfect english but well i guess u re perfect hungarian or u speak like 2 other language than english)

No wonder why ppl think gw community is the worst ever.

Look dude, you asked for advice and he's giving it to you, also, he is right. Your spelling and grammer is atrocious, having spelling and grammer like that will NOT help you get into teams, it will do the exact opposite. People will think, oh, this guy can barely speak english, he won't understand what we're saying *kick*.

I know it's harsh, but that's what it's like, people want to win, so to minimise their chances of losing they ask for req rank, and want people who can speak competent english.

Another thing, if this is the kind of reaction you have to advice, quit now. If your not willing to take the advice you get, then you will NEVER improve. People want people who listen and not say "WTF R U TAKLING ABUT!!11! U R RONG!11!" because
A) If you do that in the middle of a match you could make your team lose
and
B) You have no rank, they probably will, mmm I wonder whos advise will be right? (yes I understand some ranked 10+ are nubs and ebayed, but yeah most of them know more than an unranked guy).

So yeah, learn to take advise and don't ignore it, when YOU are the one looking to get onto the team, not them.
