Ok Ive been playing about 6 months. And when you are a newbie and ask questions in game most are very rude. They laugh, they lie, they mock. I dont get why GW has some of the most unfriendly players really. :/ I play CoH/CoV too and their gamers are majorily nice and helpful. Totally diff. feel.
But anyway... off of the soapbox onto the questions. What is the best nonbotted way to make 60k for Elite Sunspear. Made it to the place, rescued the armour guy but I have like 6k+. Anyone (or any good guild) know much about making it not just through quests? Ty for any help you can give. It is appriciated.

You can get a lot of money through quests as you noted. You can also get money for finishing your protector and guardian titles. This reward is offered if you gain "masters" on the mission". Also note the value of trade contracts. These can be turned in for gems, which are worth a fair amount of money. If your profession has a farming build, I would look on PvX wiki for places to farm.
Best of luck!
with Nightfall one easy way to make the plat that you need is to just go through NF with 3 or 4 characters and hit all the free treasure chests. Another way is to do vanquishing and hard mode missions.
What Archangel said. Also, the free chests in NF are a nice monthly source of income. Even more so when you have multiple characters who have cleared the campaign.

If you want to get the money in a hurry farming is always an option, however, I don't like farming and so I can't give you any advice on where or how. The only other advise I have to give is to keep playing and save your money. I know that sounds lame but if you keep playing and really want the armor, in time you'll get the money for it. One thing I have done to help me to save money in order to buy the big spender items I want was to always put any amount of money on my characters that was less than 1k in to my storage box. For example if after visiting the merchant my character has 12,365 on them I put the 365 in the storage box. This has built up and I now have over 300k in my storage. I have also spent a lot of money along the way most , of my 11 characters have at least one set of 15 k armor and I have paid lots out on many other things as well. The biggest thing I can tell you is to be patient and work towards the goal of the armor, it will make it that much more enjoyable when you get it. Good luck

I read that as "new 15k armor", and was like.

Yea, playing through the quests and game regularly (don't spend) should get you enough.

for some farming builds, if you want to go that route (very easy and quick).
I suggest taking heroes or henchmen along with you and "park" them someplace, so you don't get mistaken for a bot if you choose to farm a lot.
Is it just me or is that first 100k the hardest thing to get? I know it took me nearly a year to save up for 15k armor, now it seems like no matter what I buy I'm always staying right around the 500k mark. I do a bit of farming, but mostly just short runs for keys (stone eles ftw!)
It is you, I spend my money as i get it (I like to finish out my characters with complete skills...so caps get expensive). I am also an armor fiend. However, I can turn over 40k easily in a few days for a new set of armor. I like to vanquish and doing dungeons can be lucrative. Also, bosses drop things of value, so I like to hit areas with lots of bosses because I can get scrolls (150-400g) and occasionally a green item with very little effort if I take a whole team of 8. Choose areas with lots of bosses and kill them all.
Don't forget to id items that you find once you are in the level 20+ areas of the game. Many people don't ID and miss out in a bit of extra gold. Yes, even if it is white or "boring blue". Oh and btw - many blue armors will have minor runes worth good money - many minor monk, warrior, ele and necro runes are worth a few hundred, as are the radiant and survivor insignia. So id your stuff!

i usually wait until a holiday event and then solo farm
wintersday i solo farmed only about an hour or so a day maybe a month ahead of the event (gambleing they wouldnt change the collectors items) traded them in for a known hot trade item (spiked eggnog)

First, I always answer politely in GW chat. Unless people start spamming questions (and don't want to listen to my answer), I can get nasty then...
Other than that, if you play through the game, at least once, you should have enough to get most of your armour. Try to collect all materials yourself, don't buy it (especially the common variety). Some rare materials can be cheaper if crafted rather than bought.
Also, what I like to do, is to just clear an area. Either in HM or NM, I don't care. I clear all my bags of stuff, and only bring a ID kit and one or two salvage kits. I pick up all things, ID all, start salvaging the cheapest things if your bags are getting full. That's how I financed my last armour.
