Why isn't the Spellblade mentioned (and why do the seeq/gria get any love)? And why is this amongst the DS' latest features.

I was wondering about that second part, myself. They covered DQIV DS, but there hasn't been a whole lot since then. At least Chrono is coming in November.

Both Reuters and Network World have reported that Nintendo is planning to add a bunch of nifty new features to the Nintendo DS in a newly revamped piece of hardware, including a digital camera, more robust WiFi functionality and mp3 playback. Meanwhile, Kotaku says that they have reports directly from Nintendo that neither confirm nor deny these rumors. Apparently, this story originated in the Sunday edition of Japanese business daily newspaper Nikkei, but Kotaku notes that the Nikkei article cites no sources in connection with this information... a curious occurrence in journalism to say the least.

Kotaku got a quote from Nintendo of America this morning stating, "The Nikkei newspaper wrote a recent story about a DS solely based upon their own research and speculation, without interviewing Nintendo. While Nintendo is always working on new hardware, we have not made any announcement about a DS and we cannot comment on the Nikkei story."

Figures, since I just bought a DS Lite this month.

I played the first one on PS2 and PC. Never tried Max Payne 2 though.

After playing for a week, I have come to the conclusion that Spore, even dumbed down as much as it is, is fun. If they do something about the idiotic DRM, I may even buy a copy.
