You do realize that it's just a number, right? It can go down by a huge amount at any time. Trust me, I've seen it happen to a few people - one day a bunch of really old threads will go *poof* and y'all will see a drop in people's counters. Some will whine, some will be pissed, and some will just be "meh," and keep doing what they've been doing.

To be completely honest, I'm surprised the amount of spam/+1s I've seen in this thread have been allowed to stay.



And, yes: talking about post counters is considered spam as well, but at least it's more than the two or three words most of y'all are posting!
