I've obviously known that it is a Thing but beyond looking at a few celebrity tweets here and there, I never used it.

I have six spambots following me and one of them likes to ****.

I literally just got two more spambots in the five minutes since I made this post.

Ew, don't follow celebrities. I started following some of my favorite musicians and I pretty quickly stopped because they were so banal and annoying. I still follow a few "celebrities," but they aren't huge and are therefore real people, not some manufactured image I am supposed to fawn over.

In any event, they are having a super bowl party this afternoon here at work and sent an E-mail out about it. I assumed everyone would be in Giants gear or whatever, so I wore a hoodie. No one is. Oh well.

ps: the only real celebrity I am following is Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright I think. most of the others are only INTERNET FAMOUS, like Nedroid and Kate Beaton and Ryan North and Andrew Hussie and etc.
