K, let me first get kneel and beg on my knees first to Anet to give GW2 more character creation options. Because what GW1 has at the moment is seriously limited even for 3 years back.
There's loads of threads about what class you wanna play or racial abilities and such. To me, what's equally equally important is exactly how you want your character to look like. A character's gotta have "character" right ?
One of the most important features in character creation that's absolutely missing in GW1 is "width" control - the ability to make a character fatter or thinner. There were MMOs released about when GW 1 was released which already had these options.
Now GW2 has much higher standards to meet. For example, Age of conan has options in which you can adjust the width of abdomen, chest, legs, arms separately. You can also adjust eye shape & slant, nose width, chin shape etc etc etc.
Can we atleast have some of these options in GW2 please ? I mean, I don't wanna be forced to play an anorexic assassin all the time.

Even though there already is a topic like this one, it is long old, and I shall humor the current.
I presonally would like to arm and leg length tools, so you can make your character as lanky, or as stocky as you want.
I would also like "buffing" tools, which allows you to buff and debuff the character, to make him either very built, or very lean.
I think those would be mine.

I want the ability to determine the number of arms, eyes and so on that my character has. Like in Spore, but with your own character.
use the "lego" system and you have your perfect CCS, only problem is that it's never made.
Rather not. I've played games with options like these and there were horrible abonimations everywhere.
Agreed. While having a female warrior that's still slim looks great on the surface, the "novelty" lasts only for so long.
I'd quite like the ability to give her some weight - though "girth" is perhaps a better word.
more options can equal better, but as pointed out - some people will go to extremes to make abominations.
Not a problem if the devs place a lock on how far things can be tweaked. Besides, I think crappy looking armor like Primeval is more of an abomination.
I really hope GW2 does have plenty of customizing options, as the character creator in GW sucks major ***, especially compared to games that are much older.

Yeah, I've always been put off by all the clones in GW.
a new customization system is definitely in need.
