Blade and Rose Guild Official Recruitment Thread

Hello everyone, I am Sarak Layghlin, leader of the GWO-hosted Guild of the Blade and Rose [BaR].

We are once again open for general recruitment and accepting applications! We are seeking PvE and PvP players.

About Blade and Rose
Blade and Rose is a large (50+ members) guild, with a thriving and active base of supportive players committed to creating a family atmosphere for the mutual enjoyment of all of its members. We have existed since May of 2005, making us an older guild with a rich and deep history.

As of now, Blade and Rose enjoys both PvP and PvE, and is seeking members for its PvP side. Although we are not ranked currently, we have been in the top 500 guilds in the past (albeit briefly). Right now we do not have a large base of PvP players, but are seeking to increase that. We already have many active PvE players of all classes.

Blade and Rose is situated on the Wizard Isle guild hall, the one that mimics the look and feel of Pre-Searing Ascalon. We are a Kurzick aligned guild and have held both our position and guild hall since conception.

• Vent server;
• 50+ helpful members in both PvE and PvP;

• No Faction farming requirement (never has been, never will be);

PvE Recruitment
If you are a pure PvE player and are interested in learning more about our guild, please do submit your application here. Be sure to include your:

Qualities we are looking for in our PvE players are maturity, considerate of others, community-minded, and knows how to have fun in-game. We are not looking for elitist players nor we expect you to be experienced. All we ask are players who will not cause drama and enjoy being a part of a community.

PvP Recruitment
If you are interested in PvP recruitment, please feel free to submit your application here in this thread. Make sure to include your:

• In-game Name (IGN);
• World Region (Europe, America, etc);
• Timezone;
• Estimated hours of play a day for weekdays and weekends;
• Rank/Gladiator/Champion level;
• Classes most skilled with;
• Any other information you think may help, such as prior PvP experience and the like.

Specifically, the qualities we look for in BaR PvP'ers are friendliness, patience, sportsmanship, and dignity both on and off the battlefield. There is a lot of interest in HA at BaR, although we are enthusiastic about other forms of PvP as well.

General Information
Once you post your information, we will review applications and I or an officer will contact you and ask a few questions. Make sure to regularly check this thread in case we have questions for you. Once in the guild, members will undergo a 2-week propationary period. At the end of these two weeks, you will be given a special GWO forum title so that all will know you are a Blade and Rose member, as well as access to the private BaR area of GWO.

Hello, I am interested in joining your guild. I recently purchased guild wars and have been playing for about 3 weeks now. I am pretty new but i am mostly a pve player with interest in pvp. i play nearly everyday so I am very active. I am looking to join a helpful and active guild so that I can have other ppl to interact and play with. I am a 22 year old college student. I own prophecies, factions, and nightfall.

I am interested in joining your guild, I am tired of having to jump from one guild to another because they are not as they advertised. I have played GW for the better part of 2.5 years, beat all games as well as EoTN, I am also a hardcore pve player but can play pvp when needed or if I just feel like a change of pace. I generally play about three hours a day during the entire week, but at different times due to an average college life.

I have been playing GW for a bit over a year (mostly PVE, but recently enjoyed playing PVP) and I am looking for an active guild, as most guilds I've looked at are a bit small and don't have active members. So I am looking for a guild to regularly play PVE but also PVP.

Hi there, my name is Chris and I'm interested in joining the ranks of BaR. I've been playing for around 3 years in both pve and pvp on pretty much all classes. My favorites are monk and warrior at the moment but that changes from time to time.

I like helping people out with quests or missions or do random stuff with my characters. Im allergic to grind or farming but im working on some titles on my own pace when I feel like doing it.

My current guild became a bit quiet after we changed from luxon to kurzick a while back. After the change we lost half our member base and activity has been declining ever since. What I'm looking for is a active fun guild where people actually do things together instead of log on, do mindless solo grind without saying a word, and then log off again. Would love to participate in pve events or TA and GvG (HA not so much).

I do have irregular play times due to working in shifts so it ranges from early in the morning to late into the night.
