No classes system (wiki only)
I have suggestion for a no classe system that will keep all classes from GW and create new ones for GW 2
1. Instead classe like monk we can use skill categorie like fire magic(instead choosing the classes Monk/Elementalist and only using Fire and Healing, we can learn those 2 skill categories).
1/a. instead learning 2 classes we can learn 2 or more skill categories (in the limit and rules of the game) .
2/a. we can choose different skill categories to learn ,with classes you can only use skill categories for the 2 classes
3/a Players will get the skill categories from skill categorie masters and they will be able to change them when they want.
2. That system will also allow title use.
1/a.The titles will be given from leveling up the present skill categories of the AVATAR.
1/d.The skill categorie leveling up is with ease:level up you get skill points put the The points in the skill categorie,
reach the needed points open a title.
2/a When you reach the last title you have open all skill , Bonuses and Quest for the skill categorie.
3.Combos:with 2 or more skill categories the avatar learns you get more Bonuses skills,Quests and other things.
SYSTEM
1. 1 level= 1 point= skill categorie -/+ from first to last=title
1/a.title skill categorie -/+ from 1 to last
title skill categorie -/+ from 1 to last
title skill categorie -/+ from 1 to last
1/b title Water Magic -/+ from 1 to last
title Healing Magic -/+ from 1 to last
title Domination Magic-/+ from 1 to last
2. skill categorie+skill categorie=Bonus skill categorie:fire magic+Earth Magic=fire and Earth Magic.
3. skill categorie learn/Delete
skill categorie learn/Delete
3/a. Water Magic learn/Delete
Healing Magic learn/Delete
Domination Magic learn/Delete
4. Bonus skill:title skill categorie +title skill categorie

I had always wished we could change the character's primary profession as well as the secondary. I am the kind that liked to play with different builds, and some builds require certain primary attributes. To do that in GW would mean I have to make many different chars, just to try out maybe one or two combinations. After that the char becomes a mule. I'd rather that not happen, but then I'm not sure if it has to be as complicated as OP makes it out to be...
Since we are now getting 4 different races, having no set primary profession doesn't seem very far fetched.
maybe the primary attribute comes from the race. All other attributes are 'take if you want'
as i always say on no class ideas, ppl will end up ether use a melee, healer or range nuker.
so in the end, it is not so unique anymore and ppl discriminate ppl for not using X combo.
so /notsigned
i rather have some organization then a game full rubbish flamefests.
Sorudo, GW2 is going to be soloable - teaming up will not be required so the "OMGs! you aren't melee, so you must be a noob!" attitude would be entirely pointless.
On top of that, there are players in GW1 who have at least one of each profession - Its more about versatility and being able to compliment the team, than what's 'cool'.
It is not closed minded to consider a no-class system, although I maintain that a character should specialise (and lose ability to diversify) to avoid a "Jack of all trades" that matches a ranged combat specialist. Of course, they could visit certain shrines to regain their diversity (and in so doing, lose the "specialist" advantage).
Its much more about a system is implemented that determines how the people act, than the system itself. Of course, I refer to my suggestion as "no fixed-classes, because people would still group players by classes.
Bear in mind, I did not read the OP because once again, its a block of text (alright, he's found the 'return key' now, but even so!) that hurts the eyes.

wow is solo-able
RF online is solo-able
lineage 2 is solo-able
ragnarok is solo-able
but do they have a no-class system? NO!!!
why?
because it organizes ppl better.
btw, there will still be the "OMG, you're not melee, you noob" attitude, throwing everything on being able to solo is a ridicules excuse.![]()

If classes were balanced all of them would have use.
I'm lazy fat ***, I would like to change my primary profession because I only use one PvE character.
Because all of them built off the tried and tested method - its got nothing to do with "organising people". What you're saying is BS (WoW is not soloable, ask WoW players, see "Leeroy jenkins").
Now, as people have said, ANet has tried and proved a lot of new things into the MMO universe, so instead of saying they'd fail before they start, try giving them a chance.
Of course, you'll always have that attitude: I just said : It'd be pointless.
Having Races and Classes (Professions), would mean a whole lot of work for ANet on armour alone.
A classless system may be more flexible.![]()
