I was thinking about changing guilds since my current guild never does GB.
But I was wondering,,,
if the new guild I join happen to be Luxon, would I lose my Kurzick rep that I have been grinding?
You lose any that hasn't been cashed in; you don't lose what's already in the rep track.

Well... you can most easily grind for the faction side your guild is on. For the other you'd need guest invites to guilds that are the opposite, or do Fort Aspenwood / Jade Quarry (although those are mostly deserted nowadays I believe).

They give bad rewards and are really imbalanced.
FA needs 8 monks on the kurzick team and they can't lose. Even less will do it. The AI is so dumb it gets exploited.
JQ favors ele's and rangers greatly. A large amount of high cliffs give an enormous hight advantage and there are large clusters of NPC's to eliminate all over the place.
Oh, and to answer the OP's question...just switching guilds will not cause you to lose any faction...the only time you lose faction for one side or the other is when you have both sides built up but turn in one side...you lose the same amount for the other side. I'm not sure about the guild leader when switching their guilds from one side to the other...
