whats going on guys? for a long time now im the only one online in Dii? clean up the mess and reqruit new player or i dont know what... ppl in guild have been offline like 6+ months... even the officers :S

The state of the Guild is best judged by the active people. We have plenty of regulars, daily players, so no worries there.

Sure we have some that have not logged in for a long time. Our policy there is that we'll clean them out when we need space, but otherwise keep their spot for them.

As for recruiting, I personally keep an eye out on recruitment boards, and send info and invites as I can. We don't believe in spam, for good reasons, so that limits our recruiting power. Also, keep in mind that Guild Wars is not getting new players as readily as when Nightfall or even EotN was released. When GW2 comes out, we'll get our share of fresh blood.

Honestly, I'd say that if you're in a guild that is as solid and prominent as Dii, stick with it, because when GW2 rolls around (or even as it approaches), you're going to have more activity than you can shake a stick at.

Dii has been around since near the dawn of the game. We still have members present that joined during the betas. Let me just say that the general caliber of people that we have in Dii is pretty darn good, in my opinion.

The average age of our guild is a pretty high one, I believe. Real life, in addition to the spectrum of time zones that Dii members play in, can lead to some lonely moments on the roster, no doubt. But as Alaris stated, we are actively recruiting for our guild without spamming for it. The guild will surge when GW2 gets closer, I'm sure.

On another note, if someone needs a month or two off due to being sick or having a new baby I am certainly not going to give them the boot for that. And again, if we do need the space, less active members will be informed and moved off the roster. We are very understanding of that thing called Real Life.

In the meantime, enjoy the game! We are lucky to be part of an awesome alliance, so don't be shy to hang and adventure with those great folks, too.

I hope this helps to belay some of the fears or panic that you may have about Dii.

we all know that people are only waiting the beta for GW2 to be announced then we will have an influx of players who want some title or another for the halls. we will also have a problem with not having enough places for all the retired players who wish to return home.

i plan to be here with many others to welcome them back and have fun with them.

more i am looking forward to finding what the new guild / alliance system will be like in GW2. just think the alliance having a guild in each race in the game. Charr, Human, Asura, Norn, and Sylvian ? spelling?

yes we have much to look forward to but we also have much left to do. many of us have titles that we need to finish and new toons to run through the game to unlock every possable gadget in the new world. heck i still want to get my paragon through level 1 survivor and finish the game and save up for fow armor for her.

The alliance is made up of friends and we shall remain so long after they close the servers down and move them to gw2
