I got that blender for christmas, I buy a net of oranges every week, some bananas, then some fresh fruit (frozen or fresh from the plant), press the oranges, putting everything in the blender, add some honey (especially if I have blackberries) and turn it on. Not a lot of work. Otherwise I'd have to leave my house....

How do you buy that stuff without leaving the house?

I do that once a week, buying groceries. But going to town simply for a smoothie is 1) more expensive 2) more time consuming. Petrol is expensive here and town is 40km away. That's almost €6 just for petrol... A net of oranges, and 2 bananas are cheaper...

How do you manage to shop once a week?? I have to go buy chicken every 2-3 days.

You can buy a lot of chicken and freeze it? I tend to go grocery shopping once a week or less heh.

I could! But defrosting things takes forever!

Nah not really, you just have to move it to the fridge the night before you want to eat it.

Afaik Chicken stays good for good 3 days when in the fridge... so it doesn't really matter =P

Does it defrost that quickly? Assuming I take it out at night and cook it ~24 hours later, it'll defrost?

Anyway, I'm absent-minded. I should try to buy more in bulk, though... I waste so much time at those damn stores (ex. I just got back from food shopping).
