Barrage Being Bugged?

Is it just me or is Barrage "only" shooting 6 arrows? The way i read the skill description makes it sound like it should shoot up to 7 arrows but nomatter how many times i try it against very dense clusters i never seem to be able to shoot more than 6 arrows. Is it me reading the skill different than it should be read or is it bugged?

To me it changes a lot depending on concise description or not.
Simply shoot 6 arrows at targets adjecent to the target sounds like the target won't get hit, but up 6 others in range will.

On the other hand, the classic description states shoot arrows at target foe and up to 6 adjecent targets.

Inconsequent skill desriptions have been a long story though.
Testing it thouroughly is pretty difficult.

I have tested it as thouroughly as possible and you only shoot 6 arrows.

I tested with:

Zealous weapon shooting at 10+ superdense kirins in Pongmei Valley, 6 arrows hit and 6 energy is gained. Total of 20+ shots on different characters (Me and freinds) yield same results.

Vampiric weapon hitting blocking raptors in raptor cave, 6 "Block" messages apear, no health is stolen. Again tested on different characters.
