Not sure what all the complaining is about.. the quest is pretty tedious, but not difficult and very short. Just take a small party and you should easily get two branches each time.

It's pretty boring, but no worse than having to get the iris flowers. The reward is worth it, in my opinion.

Not to mention there's a full week to do it.

3 Necro Heroes with minion spells and botm

Get quest
Have all raise minions with AotL
Sac all Necros with BotM
Drake eats the minions
you rez everyone

I don't remember them being untradable. The Nesting Material was untradable but I don't remember anything else being untradable.

man that's like 22 - 45 mins to get all of them! how could anybody do that in a week?

I have Nightfall, but haven't started it yet. And looks like it's the same as Factions, you have to follow the storyline and do all the quests and missions up to Chuno in Kourna? If that's the case, I'll skip it.

Well if you bring a foreign character to Elona, you have to do a few quests, then Consulate Docks mission, then a few more quests to be able to do the Insatiable Appetite quest. It's really not very far into the campaign.

And honestly, the only reason I'm complaining about this is because I hate the quest. I hate micro-managing heroes, telling them exactly when to stop attacking. I hate time limits on quests. And I had continual problems with Toma not eating the targets.

But I do have to say I may try the minion sacrifice. Thanks for the idea, CM.

You can just flag heroes away and they will stop attacking right away.
