Well, GWO has a pet thread, and I want one too.
So, show us ur purties!

Here are ours. All mobile phone pictures of varying quality, but that is what I have at the moment. We have 4 (!) indoor cats, all non-breed cats who we've adopted as adults.

Pripps, aged 13 (black male), Skrållis aged 11 (grey female), Väsa aged 3 (white/black female) and Tore aged 2 (white/black male).

So without further ado; Picture bomb!
Skrållis and Väsa are having a cozy moment (ignore the half dead plant in the background..):

Pripps and Skrållis back when there was only the two of them (really bad quality..I'll have to go find a nicer picture of Pripps).


PS: remember to not post pet names if you are using them for passwords .. just saying.

Oh, and I completely support this thread. So much, in fact, that I'm going to copy my cat-pic-post from the OT-thread. (Yup, I'm that lazy. Deal with it.)

Ok, so I'm double posting (again). But I promised pics, so pics I shall post. Apologies for the poor quality of the pics (some worse than others), they were all taken with our mobile phone cameras.

Yes, that is how I finally got the thumb out and made this thread, seeing your kitties in the OT thread made me want to see more.

Hm, do the first two of my pictures look huge to you guys? I have resized everything in photobucket and cleared my cash but still those two want to be really really big.

It shows perfectly on my 1900x1600 monitor (not on the 1280x1024 though, but who cares, I'm not browsing on that one!)

You've some very sweet looking cats, and they apparently even like each other I'm not allowed to get a new kitten (there will be a "kitten-sale" at our local shelter and they had this huge picture, consisting of 16 or 25 kittens on the front page of the newspaper...)

Don't be fooled by its innocent look. It is pure evil - I am the pet and it is the master (I always call it 'IT' because I am too afraid to pronounce/write its real name).

Actually, three (and later four) cats worked better than two in our case. We got Skrållis and Pripps first from the shelter, but even though they had lived together forever (they were 10 and 8 at the time) they were not all that harmonious until Väsa and later Tore moved in. The two of them just had too different personalities and could not always agree on what they wanted to do, leading to no one getting to do what they wanted. Now everyone can always find someone else to do do stuff with, be it smooching, wrestling, cleaning, running, whatever. People who come to visit for the first time always exclaim with honest surprise how you don't even notice all the cats. I take that as a sign that they are quite content. Oh, and four cats means there is always at least one who wants to get a bellyrub.

@Rhon Aw, kittens! Getting another cat is a little more expensive sure, but not much more work. As long as you can provide health care and quality food, and have the time for socializing and grooming each cat, I do not see why not.

@zmcho You call that look "innocent"? Surely it must be clear to all that sinister thoughts brood inside that creature of darkness. But then again, persian cats do tend to look a bit grumpy.

Aww, that is so cute! (as long as no one farts ) Cats really can cram themselves into the tightest places.

But where are the other animals? We cant ALL be cat people. (or can we?)

So, lets see some pictures of dogs too! And birds, snakes, horses, turtles and husbands. Ok, just joking on that last one (maybe).
