For some reason, when you said "red" I pictured something more brightly red. Thus, demonic. Looking at that picture, I'll admit it's not quite what I imagined, but it still looks unusual. Regardless, I think I prefer our cat's blue eyes.Originally Posted by Lady Rhonwyn

Not my best shot of them though I had to take these quick as the female was panicking (She was very sick at the time)
Days later my male picked up the same thing though they appear to be getting slightly better from taking their medication and hope they get better soon.
Ive had the female for about 11 years not sure of her actual age she might be older than I think she is as she was already mature when I got her. The male I have had somewhere over a month and also not sure of his age.
The male is the left one and the female is on the right.

So she just accepted another bird like that?
They do look quite chummy though.. can there be eggs?

Up until now she never showed any weakness or became ill and the others ive had were brought up the same like her.
It was rough at first as this one seemed a bit selfish however the last one I had it was love at first sight but left the cage open by accident and ruined it.
She has arthritis and sadly cant as the veterinarian said it has a chance of killing her as during their mating ritual the male sits/stands on top of the female....and does his thing.

Helo every1...I was seeing this thread, and I thought...Y not post? so here are my 3
This is my dauschaund (or w/e its spelled) his name is Puchi... :D he is 8 (9 maybe) years old...
This one is my girl basset...She is having puppies (W00t)
This is the boy...He is the oldest (around 10 yrs or so) he is also the most passive :O...Gotta love when he barks :D

I had budgies when I was younger. A total of three over the course of almost 10 years, though we did not have more than two at any one time.Up until now she never showed any weakness or became ill and the others ive had were brought up the same like her.

Good heavens, no!
Besides, my last budgie died... hmm.. about 10 years ago, and we only got the cats in June (of this year). And I'd never feed the cats "living food" - except spiders and other bugs. Those they can eat whenever they like (I even encourage them to do so).
